My Journey.....
In February 2023 I became 'Sober Curious.' I realised that alcohol no longer served a purpose in my life when I bought a bottle of wine on the way home from work after a busy week, took two sips of my glass and poured the rest down the sink! I have never looked back! Since then I have tried a wide variety of alcohol free drinks, some being amazing replacements and some not so much!
what I did learn, though, was that the simple act of pouring a nice cold drink into a fancy glass and garnishing it, is a ritual in itself, alcohol content not required! After attending a festival and being unable to find any non-alcoholic options that were not just soft drink/juices, I realised that there might just be more people out there just like me! With the ever increasing demand for alcohol free options, I launched Sober Alchemy bringing award winning, premium, alcohol free beverages from boutique Australian producers to beautiful Far North Queensland.

I have been on a tasting journey to bring you the best!!
The idea for Sober Alchemy came to me at a festival after I was trying to hunt down an alcohol free drink that wasn't soft drink or juice. As soon as I got home I started to research all of the available alcohol free options, determined to find the ones that go beyond the realms of the regular alcohol free 'afterthoughts' that a lot of large alcohol companies produce. I wanted to be able to provide the sober curious with the best available options in alcohol free drinks. My offerings include award winning Altina Wine, Smug AF Cocktails and Aboriginal owned Sobah Beers.Â
The 'Sober Curious' movement is rapidly expanding and alcohol free options are evolving. I am very excited to be a part of it!
